Everybody loves to have a foot spa. The feeling of the bubbles hitting your feet is enough to make anybody feel completely relaxed and there is nothing better than coming home after a long, hard day on your feet at work, flopping into a chair and having a nice relax with a foot spa. It refreshes you and calms you down, ready for a nice evening to recuperate for the next day. If a group of you have a foot spa each then it can be a great time to socialize; you can all get together and have a gossip as you are getting a nice foot massage.
Recently, however, there are more reasons why a foot spa can be very good for you. There is a recent wave of foot spa detox therapies that can be undertaken. Essentially, you place slightly salted water into the foot spa and turn it on. The salt water draws out water filled toxins through a process called osmosis from your body. The water then changes color to a reddish, brown, which is supposed to symbolize the toxins that have been removed from the body; whether or not this is the case for some speculation but the reality is that the process does work and will leave you feeling a lot better afterwards. Indeed, it is the sort of process that you can undertake every day for a week and come out of it feeling refreshed and detoxified; just ready for the trials and tribulations of the next week.
